Angela Cacchio

Angela Cacchio, a life-long resident of Bensalem, is looking to bring her unique perspective to community decisions. As an educator, she is a strong advocate for our children and understands the impact that past, present, and future decisions have on our youth. The daughter of retired Bensalem residents, Angela is sensitive to the needs of our senior citizens. She and her husband, Lou, are proud to call Bensalem their home where they are raising their two daughters.  Because she is a mother, she will work tirelessly to ensure the safety and financial security of the township. The Cacchio Family continues to enjoy the history, beautiful diversity, and sense of community that living in Bensalem has provided them for over 40 years. As a Bensalem Township Councilwoman, Angela Cacchio, is committed to ensuring that Bensalem continues to keep its unique identity.

Angela attended Valley Elementary, Snyder Middle School, and graduated from Bensalem High School. She attended LaSalle University on an athletic scholarship, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with certifications to teach elementary, middle, and high school.  Upon graduation, she was poised and proud to return to the very same high school from which she graduated from only four years prior. She continued to serve her community as a coach to the varsity diving team, preparing several Bensalem athletes for the state championships. While doing all of this, Angela earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Gratz College, and won a grant for her work in education from the Target Corporation.

Angela continues to advocate for the families in Bensalem in her classroom, but she would like to do even more for her community.  Angela Cacchio would be honored to serve as an elected councilwoman who can be trusted to make decisions that will continue to make Bensalem a great place to live.
