Jaime
Devery
It was Bensalem Township School District that brought Jaime Devery to Bensalem Township ten years ago. As a single mother of three, Jaime chose Bensalem because of the phenomenal programs and the autistic support the district had to offer. As a single mother of two autistic children and a gifted child, Jaime understands the unique obstacles and challenges both parents and children face within the public educational system. As an active PTO member, band parent, and community member, she is an involved parent with true insight into the education system's intricate details.
After graduating from high school, Jaime attended Temple University where she received an Associate Degree in Business Management. With her Associate’s Degree, Jaime developed management, public relations, sales, customer service, and business operations skills through her various positions and abundant training courses over the years.
Hard work, passion, and perseverance allowed her to move through her career, but her strong desire to help children brought her back to education. Jaime has a strong desire to make navigating the educational system less overwhelming for every parent who wants their children's educational rights and needs met.
As a paraprofessional for the Bensalem Township School District, Jaime has been able to view the educational system from a new perspective, understanding the challenges teachers and staff face both inside and outside the classroom. Her passion to improve the educational system has been cultivated over years of interaction at various levels providing her with insight regarding our school district's needs and achievements.
